Geotechnics

One of our classic fields of operations is Geotechnics. A sound structural design in construction requires comprehensive knowledge of the subsurface conditions. Our main goal is to develop the optimum foundation design for our client, based on the subsurface conditions encountered. In cooperation with architectural and structural design, we use state of the art software in optimizing the foundation design.

Besides “classic” geotechnical services we provide damage assessment for structures and buildings including investigation into the cause of the damage. State of the art investigation methods are applied here also, for instance vibration measurement equipment, which enables us to determine, if traffic or construction works, such as dynamic compaction, may be responsible for damages to nearby buildings and structures.
